Botanic name: Hardenbergia comptoniana
A highly attractive climber, hanging vine or ground cover with long dense sprays of scented, deep blue to purple flowers for several months in late winter and spring, against a thick mat of deep green foliage.
Quick and easy to grow and extremely hardy. A vigorous, attractive and useful evergreen plant in a garden, courtyard or patio. If supported, climbs to 2m (7′) on a slender, twining stem and branches. Also useful as a dense and beautiful ground cover. Fabulous in large hanging baskets, in elevated pots or tubs or trailing over a fence, garden wall, tree stump and the like. Brilliant against bright contrasting colours such as golden everlastings.
