Miu Miu's S/S 2004 collection was another chapter in the label's long-standing affinity with Wild West sartorialism. In our view, few garments capture the label's idiosyncratic design ethos as well as the season's Western shirts. We are pleased to offer both designs that were showcased on the runway; find the classic Western variant . This rare 'shrunken' version maintains various Western features but their proportions have been reworked or reduced in size. The design has then been given a further layer of off-beat complexity by featuring finishing typically seen on mid-century pyjamas.

The piece is crafted from finely woven cotton muslin, a smooth and translucent material with a retro rhombus print. The collar has a small Western shape, complemented by curved yokes and distinctive 'smile' welt pockets. Contrasting dark navy piping delineates these details, reinforcing the design's nightwear associations. The sleeves have curvilinear four-button cuffs with multiple miniscule pleats, and the back is shaped with elongated darts. The hem has slightly higher sides, producing a slightly aggressive silhouette.
